How we handle your data.

In short: we only collect what we need to send you your grissini or to reply to you. No advertising, no profiling, no data sold to anyone.

This is a courtesy translation. The Italian version is the only legally binding one.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Feyles Srl, with its registered office at Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, 71 – 10128 Torino (TO), VAT number 12071280015.

What data, and when

When you order. Your full name, delivery address, email address, phone number, what you bought and how much you paid. Your card details do not pass through us: you enter them on the secure page of Stripe, which handles the payment, and we only receive the outcome.

When you sign in to your account. Your email address: we use it to send you the sign-in link (valid for 15 minutes) and to show you the orders you have placed online. We do not ask you for a password and we do not store one.

When you write to us. What you enter in the form: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message; for wholesale enquiries, also the name and town of your business.

While you browse. For security reasons and for a limited time, the service that hosts the website records the technical data of each visit (network address, date and time, page requested). Your basket and the address you type stay in your device's memory until you order: the details are on the Cookies page.

We do not ask for, and do not want, data about your health, your opinions or other special categories of data: please do not include it in your messages.

Why we use your data

  • To fulfil your order — preparing it, sending it, keeping you informed, handling returns and refunds. Legal basis: the contract of sale.
  • For your account — sending you the link and showing you your orders, when you ask for them. Legal basis: your request.
  • To meet our legal obligations — tax and accounting records. Legal basis: a legal obligation.
  • To reply to you when you write to us. Legal basis: your request.
  • To protect the website against abuse and fraud. Legal basis: our legitimate interest.

Who we share it with

Only with those we need in order to get your order to you, each for their own part:

  • Stripe, for payment by card or Satispay;
  • our courier, GLS, to whom we pass your name, address, phone number and email address for the delivery;
  • the technical providers that host the website, store orders and deliver emails;
  • our accountant, for tax compliance.

Some technical providers are based, or have servers, outside the European Union: in that case the transfer takes place with the safeguards provided for by the European data protection regulation, the GDPR (adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses). We do not sell or pass on your data to anyone for advertising purposes.

How long we keep it

  • Orders and tax documents: ten years, as required by law.
  • Messages and requests: as long as it takes to reply to you and follow up your request, and in any case no longer than two years.
  • Technical data about visits: the short period set by the service that hosts the website.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it where there is no obligation to keep it, to restrict its use and to provide it to you in a readable format, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Just write to info@grissinificiofeyles.it: we will reply within one month.

If you believe we have got something wrong, you can contact the Italian data protection authority, the Garante (garanteprivacy.it).
